Apes, Cowboys, Aliens and Zookeepers~!

Soooo~ I've been busy with movies :p I love watching movies ehehe... I recently learned from my mama that I take after my daddy~ XD ANYWAYS.

Ima talk about the movies I've watched this month alone... So, first up is:

-

One thing I have to say is, god damn that poster looks scary! D: It's like... iunno it just really gives me the shivers! LIKE, apes will overrun the freaking country. LOL. Okay one more thing ah... Please please don't say I'm weird O_O BUT, if I was a chick ape, I'd find the main ape kinda good looking XD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

*waits for people to poke fun at her*

ahem... whatever. You people have no imagination. Watch the freaking movie, maybe you'll know why I think the freaking ape is quite good looking *snickers*. I wanted to watch this with several people but they kept turning me down because well, my chick friends and family are sometimes just... really~ *shrugs* No comment! BUT, thank the lord for Nabs ♥ lol. She ended up being my movie buddy for the day hehehe... we both liked the movie :D

So, the story basically centers around this... dude, I think he's a professor, if my memory serves me right, he was a professor not a doctor :) YEAH, well he's played by James... Franco. (I get confused between James Franco and James Marsden sometimes :p)

So James Franco's character is a professor that works for this big corporate company that issues medicinal drugs or supplements or shots or whatever. So JF is in charge of researching this "product" that can possibly cure Alzheimer's disease. So during the first part of the movie, we wonder why other characters in the movie kept mentioning how he shouldn't let personal emotions get in the way of the Company's ambition.

AND we later learn that his dad has Alzheimer's :( How pitiful...

So the company's test subjects are on animals... specifically on Apes, cause I reckon it's because of Darwin's theory on how Apes are the closest animals to resemble humans *cough* So ehhh... I'll speed through it. A breakthrough happened... THE DRUG WORKED! :D Thus a ape call 'Caesar' comes into the picture. hehehe... :D Yeah, the handsome ape I was talking about earlier :p

It becomes about the ape and he is so freaking smart that yeah... it caused a ruckus and then Caesar and some other apes were running amuck in the city. Epic shit in my opinion.

Alright, so if you went to the movies having high expectations and only comparing it to how the story unfolds then you will be slightly disappointed I think. Why I loved it, is because... if you were to really think about it. It is some awesome shit being written there, the possibility of it happening~ it's simply unnerving! :D It gave me chills hehehe... SO screw you people who said "It wasn't THAT good." UGH! well, okay, each to his own.

I freaking love how they showed the consequences of what being a conceited arrogant dick of a human being can do! Moral of the story is, be nice to animals too okay? I hate people who treat animal like shit. I mean, I am not a freaking tree hugger or an animal lover, I ain't some loving hippie~ BUT, you are so EVIL if you kick animals and terrorise them, don't be mean to anyone or anything, K?? They can bleed too okay? Stop being a dick. Baie.

One thing I noticed about this movie... LOL. what's up with the chockfull of British Actors? :p hehehehe... found that amusing. I like the movie. I give it an 8.5 (I don't give perfect scores hehehe so that's pretty good!)

Now as for the movie "Cowboys and Aliens"...

LOLs.... somehow the poster is suitable for some erotic cowboy porn or something... Like oh yeaaa~ the cowboy is so bringing sexy back with his sexy gunsssss ;D *wink wink* Honestly, I was expecting it to be good~ WHY? well because for one thing, I finally agree with the casting of Daniel Craig as this sorta character X) Yes, I'm referring to him as James Bond.... I totally disagreed with that, he lacked the good looks of a Bond spy... I mean, he's too rough looking and rugged. I watched this movie with Muiz, yay~! another movie buddy lol... other than Nabs hahaha~ . Anyways~

Daniel Craig + Cowboy = Great Combo!

BUT, I was so let down.............

I WANT TO SAY IT TO EVERYONE.... DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE IN THEATRES. It's definitely not worth the money =__=); I have nothing much to say about this...

The storyline was sloppy, special effects were okay... it had no actual depth. Some parts were left unexplained and all through out I felt SO UTTERLY CONFUSED. We both were actually, kept asking each other if we understood the movie. LOL. Action was good I guess... but oh what the hell. I recommend you to just get it on DVD.

I'm rating this movie..... a..... WTF out of 10 :D Yes. I'm serious.

Lastly, is "Zookeeper".

Uhmmm okay... watched it with Muiz again. He was telling me how it was supposedly a funny ass movie right... And well, it was a good movie. Had parts that got me laughing and crying and well... some were just... okay~ But lol, there was this one part of the movie that got me reaaally confused! XD So you see, there came a part where the animals were teaching the guy how to "keep a girl", it was the Bears' turn... and lol, this person next to me *co-muiz-ugh* was like laughing so hard at it... HAHAHAHAHA. He found it so amusing it was almost cute. x) I supposed he loves bears. *shrugs* xD

So this story was very mainstream; quite predictable at parts, the humor varied from being ok and good, the storyline was... I won't say typical, but yeah okay, maybe it was just like Dr. Dolittle with a bit of a twist in it. It made me tear up a bit and it had touching moments... :) I liked it. Not bad actually, but not much of a loss if you were to miss this in theatres.

I'd rate this movie a 7 out of 10 :)

Alright, that is pretty much it~ Good stuff yes? hehehehe... I don't know how to write a proper review, this is basically my thoughts on them~ If anything though, don't just shun a movie just because people say it sucks, taste varies, so you might like it despite me not liking it. So the point is, give every movie made an equal chance because it's nice to see for yourself if it was a poorly directed movie or otherwise.
